about
Double Bus is a collaboration between Living Hour and Peel Dream Magazine. Both singers, Sam and Joe, give the song a natural, intimate, and organic sound. The lyrics came from a poem that Joe wrote while listening to a keyboard loop Living Hour made, exploring percussive sounds in words. Close your eyes and get lost in it.

LYRICS:
Cafe Hotel in pastel, I don't fit in
All personnel in pastel west of Berlin
Cafe Hotel in pastel, I don't fit in
All personnel in pastel west of Berlin
Move is a must, a double bus I don't fit in
Ever a bust a double bus all of us in
mmmmmm
Cafe Hotel in pastel, I don't fit in
All personnel in pastel west of Berlin
Move is a must, a double bus I don't fit in
All personnel in pastel west of Berlin
mmmmmm
Move is a must, a double bus I don't fit in
Ever a bust a double bus all of us in
Cafe Hotel in pastel, I don't fit in
All personnel in pastel west of Berlin
mmmmmm
Cafe Hotel in pastel, I don't fit in
All personnel in pastel west of Berlin
I don't fit in west of Berlin
I don't fit in

An ecstatic mix of everything cool: Krautrock, Shoegaze, Indie Rock, Noise, as well as an endless abundance of melodies and riffs that have worked their way into my brain ceaselessly over the last few months. One of 2020's standout LPs. Admo
Dreamy, intricate guitar pop from Oakland's Absent City; splashes of accordion, sitar, lap steel, and mandolin add textural richness. Bandcamp New & Notable Oct 26, 2020
